The globally recognized International Bariatric Club – University of Oxford Surgery Webinar Series was conceptualized by Professor Haris Khwaja and Mr. Bruno Sgromo at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and in collaboration with Professor Ariel Ortiz, Director of IBC TV and Professor Tom Rogula, Founder of the IBC Oxford University webinar series was born.
To date 86 webinars have been done on all topics relevant to the Bariatric healthcare professional with over 200 hours of high-quality educational lectures featuring leading faculty from all over the world.
At IIMM, students, fellows and visiting scholars are immersed into one of the highest quality, highest volume ambulatory surgery centers in the region, acquiring knowledge and dexterity rarely available elsewhere. Through our partnership with UC San Diego there is also exposure to the latest technological and scientific advancements available.
